Facing Foreclosure, Tucson, AZ Family is Saved from Financial Ruin by  RE/MAX CDPE Trained Realtor®

Facing foreclosure after falling 3 months behind on their mortgage, Donna of Tucson, AZ was in despair.

She missed mortgage payments after a job relocation and didn’t see any way out of her situation.

She listed her home with an inexperienced real estate agent that cost her time and frustration. She cancelled the listing and conducted a search to find a an experienced real estate agent that specializes in Short Sales. She was surprised to learn that she had options.

“I just wanted to be free of the mortgage obligation and avoid foreclosure,” said Donna.

She sold her home in a short sale, where the lender accepted the selling price as payoff in full of the mortgage. Don & Kathy Vallee are Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) and highly trained in handling short sales. They work with the lender and the buyer’s agent and handled a mountain of paperwork to successfully close the deal.

“This arrangement of “Short Sale” relives me of the mortgage debt and gives the new owner a real nice property at a fantastic price,” said Donna. “We couldn’t have done this without The Vallees.”

Vallee’s were trained as a CDPE by the nationally acclaimed Distressed Property Institute in Florida.  We have successfully managed short sales and we assist homeowners in financial distress, something that many Realtors do not want to do because of the extra time and work involved.

“The CDPE course prepared me to better help homeowners in need of options to save them from foreclosure,” said Vallee. “It is so gratifying to be able to help people who are suffering due to circumstances beyond their control. In this economy, it’s more important than ever that Realtors work to help clients in bad situations.”
