Real Estate Altos Research Realtime Market Housing Trends for Tucson, Arizona

Altos Reserach tracks the 20 major cities across the country.   Here is the January 2008 The Real Time Housing Market Report.

Here are some of the highlights of the report:

1. The San Diego wildfires caused the steepest list price to fall at 5.8%.

2.  All 20 markets exprerienced an increased in the amount of time it takes to sel a home. Miami has the longest dyas on market at 137 days. Minneapolis comes in second at 125 days on market.

3.  Stephen Bedikian, partner and research director for Real IQ said, "We expect time-on-market will continue to lengthen and apply pressure on homeowner pricing decisions until buyers regain confidence and demand levels off. So far that point is not in sight."
