Oro Valley, AZ “Pusch Ridge” Real Estate in Northwest Tucson

George Pusch (1847 – 1921)

Pusch Ridge located between Tucson and Oracle, was a ranch that became a stopping point for stage coach travelers heading west in 1865. Goerge Pusch had the largest ranch in Arizona with over 5,000 head of cattle and 300 horses. Around 1870 he installed a steam-powered pump which is known as Steam Pump Ranch or Village. This is a major landmark in Oro Valley, Arizona.
