Southern Arizona Homebuilders Association Announces Parade of Homes in February 2008 Tucson, Arizona

The Southern Arizona Home Builders Association officially broke ground mid-March with seven custom builders and Mayor Ed Honea in attendance. Mayor Ed Honea commented "It will bring jobs, and is an asset to the community. We appreciate home building".

The Arizona Daily Star reported in the April 29, 2007 Sunday newspaper that Steve Canatsey, owner of Canatsey Building & Development, is chairing the event. He was the chair of the last parade of hmes held in 1988.  New construction homes in Marana, Arizona.

Tucson, Arizona also hosts the Tucson Gem & Mineral Show, Tucson Rodeo, NFL Super Bowl in Glendale, and spring Training, and not to forget the Accenture Match play tournament.

The parade of Homes will feature 29-lot, 36 acre parcel being developed by Lex Sears. The lots will consist of 1 acre homesites at the Sonoran Preserve on teh Bajada, located in Marana, Arizona near Dove Mountain and Saguaro Ranch.

The seven builders are: Canatsey Building, Bauer Homes, Lathrem Homebuilders, Becklin Construction, Casa Bonitas Development, JD Raney Construction, and Washburn Custom Builders.

The sponsors for the event are: Southwest Gas, Jim Click Automotive Group, Expert Solar Systems, Bank of Arizona, and First American Title.
